Kiyomizu-dera Temple was inspiring in so many different ways. Elisa and I stumbled upon the most beautiful water basin in the temple. We were both mesmerised by how the water trickled in and created the most beautiful ripples against the stone basin. The water was cold, clear and we also realised how usually only creative people notice these small things. We literally stared at tap for a while. The architecture, detail and scale of the buildings against the lush greenery and cityscape was so awe inspiring.
